The Sick Children's Trust wasn't a known charity to myself or my family.  However in November 2020 it became a charity very important and close to me and my family.  My son was admitted for brain surgery at the age of 8 months old, all during the COVID pandemic, meaning there was only one family member able visit him in then hospital.  Step in the Sick Childrens Trust (Crawford House) who were on hand to provide me and my wife a home closer to our son, allowing us some time together to help and support each other.  

I will be forever grateful to the trust and the team at Crawford House for everything they done to help us through the difficult times we had.

Its costs on average £30 per family per night, it may not seem alot but across the country it can amount to a substantial amount, even more so when the charities income is reducing during the pandemic.
