On 9th June 2022,, personnel from RAF Spadeadam will be holding a charity cycling event in support of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA). The event will follow a 30km route set out across the Spadeadam range to raise awareness and funds for the charity.

The Royal Air Forces Association is a single Service membership organisation and registered service charity that provides welfare support to the RAF Family - providing friendship, help and support to current and former members of the Royal Air Force and their dependants.

The RAF Association currently has a membership of over 70,000 serving RAF personnel, veterans and non-service individuals. It has a UK-wide caseworker network of over 1,100 volunteers undertaking over 85,000 welfare contacts annually, with help ranging from simply providing conversation and friendship to preparing and submitting application forms for financial assistance.

For Personnel at Spadeadam who wish to participate, please donate the £10 entry fee as well as any extra donations you’d like to donate and place in the description to your donation you would like to take part so your name can be placed onto a nominal role. (All donations to be in before 6th of June 2022)

All support is welcome and we hope to raise as much as possible to support the charity.
