Story
Thanks for visiting my just giving page.
As you may now know, unfortunately back in February 2023 my amazing girlfriend Hannah was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. After multiple consultations we found out that Hannah required a stem cell transplant to save her life.
In July we found out that Hannah finally had her match. This amazing selfless person has donated their stem cells and given Hannah a second chance at life. Hannah successfully received her stem cell transplant on the 15th September and is now working through the extensive recovery phase of her treatment.
But not everyone finds their match this quickly and some people may have to wait years to find a match. This is where Anthony Nolan come in! They are the vital link between patients and potential donors. They help to increase the size of the register. They also offer support to those awaiting a transplant and those who have successfully received their transplant.
Please consider one or both of the following if able:
1) Donate! Help us reach our target and help Anthony Nolan match more donors with people who need their stem cells. Every £40 provides could add another life-saving donor to the register.
2) Aged 16-30? Join the stem cell register. You could save a life of someone like Hannah. See more info here: https://www.anthonynolan.org/help-save-a-life/join-stem-cell-register
Thank you all so much for the support! It really means so much to Hannah and I.
