Story

I’m at it again, this time on the home leg. After running the New York Marathon in 2021 and taking a year off to forget just how horrible those last few miles felt, I’m ticking off another bucket list item and hoping to beat 4 hours this time. Little did I realize that training in sub-zero temperatures is no more appealing than a hot and humid summer.

Guy’s & St Thomas’ Kidney Patients’ Association doesn’t get as much love as some of the bigger UK charities but the work they do to help patients feel more comfortable during their treatment is important (from kitting out accommodation for overnight stays to organizing sporting events). I hope you can join me in supporting this very worthy charity.
