Give a child a christmas, give 2 pound.

In the UK if you are ill, you see a doctor for free.

Here in Villa Maria, Peru, it is a very different story.  Living in the largest Shanty Town in South America, Jose is a 3 year old fantastic, little boy, who has a tumour the size of a tennis ball which is developing rapidly.

With no National Health Serivce here in Peru and no money, this little boy will die if he does not have surgery.

An operation to save his life costs only $1000 (approx 700 pounds) we had intially thought that 500 pound would be required however based on the current exchange rate it is more closer to 700 pound.  

So we are asking on behalf of Jose and his family that 350 of you give £2 this christmas to give this little boy a chance to live.

You will no doubt give many gifts this christmas, but the best gift of all would be to give £2 and save a life.

The cost of Jose´s operation is $1000 which we have achieved already and thank you to everyone who has donated. It is a tremendous effort on behalf of all our friends and family. Although we have achieved the target we set, Jose will require aftercare but we are not sure how much. Please feel free to continue to donate as this money will still reach his family and not be lost in the system.
