As part of our charity fundraising this year LUWHC and LUMHC will be taking part in Minds 27 miles in 27 days challenge during March. This is to raise money for the 27% of students who report a mental health problem at uni. The number of students reporting a mental health problem is five times greater today than it was ten years ago, while the number of students dropping out because of mental health problems has trebled. By taking part in this challenge we want to send the message that it’s time our mental health as students is taken seriously and we won’t give up until everyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect. Mind provides a national voice and local support for anybody experiencing a mental health problem.
