Story
Some of you may know how long I've been talking about doing this, and so a month ago I finally took the jump and cut off 15" of hair!
My own fear that it would make me feel less feminine to have short hair was not only irrational, but pales in comparison to how young people going through treatment for cancer or other diseases that cause hair loss feel when losing it altogether. This year for my birthday, I'd love to raise money for the LPT alongside my hair donation to help the organisation continue to provide young people with confidence and a sense of identity and self-expression that comes with having a natural hair wig.
Plus, I think I rock a bob.
