Story
This exquisite pencil drawing is an eighteenth century study, after the antique, of a Greek woman in a classical headdress. One of my favourite pieces of art which I have no intention of selling. It occurred to me while I stare at her above my desk at home, where I am working from, that others could enjoy her too if I committed that ordinarily forbidden act of reproduction. Then last Thursday while clapping on my doorstep along with the rest of the nation felt that I'd like to do something more. The two ideas have merged and instead of a commercial endeavour but still fulfilling my creative urge she has come out of her frame, had a socially distant visit to the printers and arrived back home with one hundred sisters.
I hope with your love of art and a humble heart, together you will help me raise £1000 for which I will send you a print (40 x 28 cms) for the sum of £12 which will go to our NHS heroes.
