Story
Hi!
We are Joseph (12) and Theo (7) and would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.
In 2022, we made a new year's resolution to do at least one random act of kindness each week (in memory of Fi Munro). When we learned about what is happening in Ukraine we felt so sad, and knew our random acts of kindness needed to go much further afield than the local community.
To fundraise, we are going to busk in Dundee City Centre with our violins, saxophone and guitar, and have been working very hard to prepare for this. We've taken full responsibility for the whole plan - from creating backing tracks and playlists, to photocopying our music and organising it into folders, to sorting out the equipment we need, to researching charities, making posters and setting up this page, to - of course - practising lots to make sure we perform as well as we can! We really hope we can raise lots of money to help the people of Ukraine.
Our random acts of kindness don't always involve money, but we think that is definitely what is needed this time. Your donations might give someone fleeing war a safe place to stay, a warm blanket to sleep under, medicines, first aid, clean water to drink or food to survive. We really want to show the people of Ukraine a great big collective act of kindness and hopefully increase their awareness of the love and support for them from around the world. Please don't worry if you can't afford to donate much - little by little, a little becomes a lot and every penny adds up. We can make a real difference to the people who have lost so much.
Please consider sharing this page with your friends and family because the people in Ukraine need our help.
Love and thanks,
Joseph and Theo
