Great North Run 2022 for St Benedict's Hospice

Story

I am running the Great North Run 2022 in honour of my mam, Val Taylor, who passed away in April 2010 and for St Benedict's Hospice who looked after her. This will be the first time I'll have run the famous Newcastle to South Shields route and hopefully my first one injury-free (touch wood!).

The Hospice have been a huge support to my family especially for myself, my Auntie Jan and my dad, Tony. My family and I have been involved in volunteering and fundraising for St Benedict's Hospice since 2010.

Here is a short description of what the Hospice offers:

St Benedict's Hospice in Sunderland offers free care, advice and support for patients, and their families, who have a life-limiting illness. St Benedict's Hospice has a long history and our experienced and professional, clinical and volunteer teams are committed to providing the highest level of care in the future.

Thank you for any donations
