Andrew was my brother in law, born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome he was always fighting from day 1. He and his amazing family who I have been lucky enough to marry into had to overcome challenges every day. They did so with an inspiring resilience and outlook that has had such a positive effect on my outlook on life!

From Andrew being a baby Zena his mother my mother in law had to stay in hospital with him regularly learn to care for him in a very different way to her 5 daughters, deal with doctors, schools, people who didn't understand his challenges and many more agencies.  Little Heart Matter (then known as Left Heart Matters) supported them through that journey by educating the parents whilst entertaining the children.

So in my own way I'm trying to help, I am not a Christmas person so my wife Rosanne suggested that joining in with this elf dress up would be very uncomfortable for me and as such hopefully raise some money for this great charity!
