Story
The Celtman Xtreme Scottish Triathlon has been on my bucket list ever since taking up the sport and watching the race review on The Adventure Show.
It involves a 3.4km sea swim in Shieldaig Sea Loch on the north west coast before a hilly 202km bike ride but the final 42km marathon run which includes 2 munros in the Beinn Eighe range.
Last year I completed Ironman UK triathlon and raised over £4,000 for the My Name's Doddie Foundation who raise awareness and support research into finding a cure for this horrific disease and MIND. I hope to continue to raise as much money as I can and doing this ridiculous brutal challenge seemed quite fitting!
