UPDATE -- 

We did it !!!  We survived all that the course and the elements had to throw at us - lightning, hailstorm, rain storm !

Gabriel and Matt also came to cheer us on, 

Thank to everyone for supporting us, certainly helped us to go faster. Our times ranged between 2 h 5 min and 2 h 14 min. Aman Bhargava's team trounced us all, of course.

Gabriel Sayer, our friend and colleague, lost his daughter Molly unexpectedly in April 2021. This tragedy has affected us deeply. 

In memory of Molly and in support of Gabriel and his family, we are fundraising for this charity, which is the family's choice.

We all know of Gabriel's passion for Ironman and triathlon events, and 12 of his Surgical colleagues have therefore especially signed up to participate in the 2021 London Triathlon on Saturday 7th August.

We will be taking part in the Sprint Team Relay, which consists of a 750m open water swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run.

We are organised into 4 teams with each person doing 1 leg -- the "dirty dozen" are his fellow consultants Sas Banerjee, Aman Bhargava, Robert Buhain, Joe Huang, Maher Jumah, Samrat Mukherjee, Niroo Rajendran, Haschmat Sarwary, and Sandeep Kaul; and the registrars Omer Abdelsadiq, Charlie Craddock, and Apostolos Prionas.
