Cycling the North East 250 for cancer research, 8 March 2019
In May 2019 Lisa Chilton, Fundraising Manager with the Development Trust, and her sister Bel will be taking on the NE250 cycle challenge in aid of cancer research at the University of Aberdeen.

Story

In May 2019 I will be joining a group of staff and students from the University of Aberdeen to cycle the North East 250 for cancer research. This is the first time the NE250 route will be officially cycled and you can view the route here www.northeast250.com/interactive-map/ We will be providing plenty of updates along the way to inspire you to support our cause but also to hop on your bike and try parts of the route (or the whole NE250) yourself.

This is our final challenge as part of the £4.5 million fundraising appeal to develop a centre for cancer research in Aberdeen to accelerate vital research to improve how cancer is diagnosed and treated - and critically, how it can be prevented. We are so close to reaching our target and need your help to get us there!
