Story

My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a number of years ago, and not only have I seen the change in him, but also the change in my mum. The most courageous woman I know.

Alzheimer's is a cruel and heartbreaking disease on so many levels. The support and funding is not there to help people, on what can only be described as a devastating  journey.  This year more than any, has highlighted the difficulties people have to face and try to over come.

My mother is a wonderful wife and now carer to my dad, and for all that my dad has forgotten his love for my mum still remains.

I am walking for them and their love for one another. If you can help, by sponsoring me to raise money to support other families. To ease their journey, just a little bit, then thank you.

A little bit of love, kindness and generosity goes a very long way.

Thank you for reading and for any and all the support you give.

Jina xx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
