Please read story below but I am doing a challenge to raise money for the cause. I'm 55 unfit and haven't done any exercise for over 5 years. Jordans last trip was to Costa Rica, which he loved! So in honour of that trip I'm going to swim the distance of Costa Rica North to South. 

This is 464kms. I reckon it will take me 9 months or more. I will do the swim in my gym. Each length is 20 meters. So I need to do 23,200 lengths of the pool. 

I hope I face this challenge with as much determination as Jordan had.. 

Jordan, my nephew, sadly and heart breakingly passed peacefully away on Saturday 10th October 2020, taken from us after a 5 year battle with brain cancer. He was only 28.

From the moment he was diagnosed he took on the challenge with a huge amount of courage, determination and humour. 

He fought the battle on his terms but in the end it was all too much and he passed away peacefully surrounded by Karen, Rus and his brothers Callum and Adam. His family have also been truly amazing throughout this whole ordeal. But Jordan was surrounded by so much love in his final moments and always will be. 

The work that Phyllis Tuckwell has done helped Jordan pass away with love and dignity and allowed him to remain at home with his family. They do such difficult work and any donation you can give will help them help other families going through the most difficult of times.
