Helen Rollason was a BBC sports presenter, having been diagnosed with cancer, she died in 1999.  Since Helen passed away the charity has worked very hard to improve the lives of others touched by cancer.

The charity has no government funding and therefore relies on donations and sponsorship.  Having been involved with the charity and helping them to raise money for over a year, it means a great deal to be able to run for them.
