Barnardo’s transforms the lives of vulnerable children across the UK through the work of projects, campaigning and valuable research expertise. Barnardo's believe that they can bring out the best in every child whether the issue is child poverty, sexual exploitation, disability and domestic violence.

 

I am part of a twenty strong team all working for Wates Group Ltd. climbing Kilimanjaro in October 2012 to raise money to allow Barnardo's to continue their fantastic work throughout the UK. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the continent of Africa, the highest free standing mountain on the planet and one of the largest volcanoes ever to break through the Earth's crust standing at 5,895m.
