Story
This year on the 21st May the Scottish Seabird Centre (Registered Scottish Charity no. SCO25837) is turning 20, with the current situation we may not be able to celebrate as we hoped but we can still do something to honour this milestone. I have chosen to walk 26,000 steps in 20 hours starting 1pm on 26th April.
I will be doing this using my allotted outside time over 2 days, walking around my garden, flat and the three fights of stairs in my building.
The Scottish Seabird centre means a huge amount to me, from fond memories of celebrating childhood birthday parties, to teaching me on my visits as a member through to being my place of employment. I value the education and knowledge the centre has given me that has allowed me to grow and develop a passion for protecting Scottish seabirds and marine life and want this opportunity to be available for generations to come.
Whether you have visited the centre personally or just believe in the work the centre is committed to doing I ask that you please consider sponsoring me to help meet my goal and help the centre to continue through this tough time.
