Story
A year ago I lost the most important person in my life, my heart, my support system, my best friend but above all my mum. I have decided to take part in this years midnight walk. This is way More than a fundraiser, this event is something truly special and that's why I'm taking part! I lost my mum to covid 19.. while she was in hospital on oxygen struggling to breathe me and my family started running 10k a night while she was fighting for her life to show her that while she is fighting we are pushing ourselves too even though that wasn’t a fraction of what she was going through I want to take part to keep her legacy going. I truly do believe my mum will be walking every step with me. I want to keep pushing and making her proud For anyone that knew my mum knows how she would do absolutely anything for everyone without hesitation. The reason why I’ve chosen Kirkwood hospice is because it has a deeper level as my mum step every day/night at this hospice when she sadly lost her grandad, my great grandad. He was always like a father figure to her.. i couldn’t think of a better fundraiser not only am I honouring my mum but also my great grandad. Please support me in any way you can, every step I take at the Midnight Memory Walk makes a difference! Thankyou so much ❤️
