I am taking part in the Kids Operating Rooms Sofa to Summit challenge, where I will virtually climb Mount Kilimanjaro! I will be doing this by climbing up 2,183 flights of stairs in my apartment building. I have been battling boredom in quarantine and decided I needed a real challenge - plus it is for a great cause! Kids Operating Room save the lives of children in some of the world's poorest countries by creating operating rooms dedicated to children's surgery. These operating rooms are there for them at a crucial crossroads in their life. It costs £50 for a child's operation, 50% of operations are lifesaving, while 50% prevent avoidable disability.
