My name is Jordan Adams, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
How the charity raffle works?

For every £5 you donate you will receive an entry into the raffle to have a chance of winning the signed shirt from the start of 19/20 season recently given to me by Joe Lolley.
There is no limit on the amount of entries per person, the more entries you have the more chance of winning the signed shirt.
Make sure you are logged into Just Giving when you donate and select ‘I’m happy to share my contact details’ so I can contact you if you win.
The winner will be chosen at random and announced via twitter next Monday at 7pm on twitter.
My Story - If you want to know where your donation is going?
In September 2018 I received a genetic test result to show I am a carrier of the MAPT gene, a gene mutation that causes the Frontal Temporal Dementia (FTD) my Nan, Auntie & Mother all lived with. Having watched & cared for my mom over a 6 year period whilst she lived with her dementia and all the difficulties and symptoms it brings was incredibly difficult. So taking the decision to be tested was not an easy one but it has given me the power to stop the agonising continuation of this illness and all the pain & stress it has caused within my family once and for all, by knowing that I am a carrier of the gene it now means my partner & I can have IVF with Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis which rules out the chance of me passing the gene onto my children so they never have to live with FTD. Even if it is too late for me, I am determined to make a difference for the future generation as 1 in 3 people born this year will live with Dementia in there lifetime. This is why I made the decision to become an Alzheimer’s Research UK community speaker and tell my story, to help spread awareness and raise money for a great cause.
Therefore, not only will I be taking on the 2020 London Marathon but I will be fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK, the UK's leading dementia research charity dedicated to diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.
As the London Marathon on April 26th was postponed, I decided to run the 26.2 distance anyway in my hometown and completed it in a time of 3:35:02, so far I have raised over £7,000 for a cause close to my heart and I hope to even more money before achieving my eventual goal of completing the London Marathon on its new date October 4th.
