Story
Hello Everyone!
Next Sunday I would normally be doing my annual 5 miles run around Newcastle Gosforth Park Racecourse in order to raise money for people who have, had, or potentially get cancer in their childhood.
I decided earlier in the lockdown, that I am still running the 5 miles, but instead start from my home, through Heaton Park, through Jesmond Dene, South Gosforth, Paddy Freemans Park, the Iris Brickfield then back home (which I have worked out it is 5 miles).

Back in September 1999 (just over 20 years ago), I was diagnosed with Leukaemia and treated for 3 years at the RVI Newcastle. I was a quiet person before then who wouldn’t eat much, to now someone who eats as well as talks loads now.
In return, I have chosen to run the Great North Run and the Annual Children Cancer Run, to raise funds for the North Of England Children Cancer Research Fund (NECCR), to help children who are going or had the same support as myself.
Not everyone makes it through, however many do come out okay on the other side, so it is important to recognise how many people are affected by Leukaemia or any Cancers.
Feel free to sponsor if you wish!
Thank you :D
