Fundraising for Jami
2022 was one of the most challenging years of my life. Through all the peaks and troughs, focussing on my mental health was one of the most important ways of moving forward. You never know what someone is going through and I feel that the more awareness we can raise for mental health the better.
I started running during lockdown in 2020. Before that, I didn't have much of an outlet for stress, nor focus on my own mental health.
Running has enabled me to take ownership for my mental and physical health, which I believe go hand-in-hand. To be able to run the London Marathon while raising money for a charity I full-heartedly support is something that excites me beyond measure.
While talking about our problems is often labeled as negative, the right kind of support and guidance, such as what JAMI offers can enable you to talk through things in a safe space.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
