Story
In the month of March, I am aiming to run 50 miles (the length of the 2 x Inca Trails - like if you left your camera at the beginning and had to go back) to raise money for Inca Trail Porters, who, due to Covid 19 have had no income and no government support since March 2020.
My friend Paul Cripps explains the situation in this video - https://vimeo.com/515308374/b3e7c5d42d
For those of you who know me, I don't have a typical runners build.. but I'm going to polish off the Asics, lube up my nipples and pound the mean streets of sarf-east London for this excellent cause.
I know times are hard for a lot of people at the moment, but whatever you can spare would be massively appreciated. £25 can buy an essential food parcel for a porter and their family though *Hint*
For those of you who have been to Peru you will know what an amazing country it is. For those who haven't you should go when you get the chance and to whet your appetites I'm including a few pictures of me in said land of the Incas (sometimes looking blond, grey-haird, thin or 'curvy').
In all seriousness if you can spare anything it would be a massive help. It's not just Peru where people are suffering and if you want to donate to other causes in Latin America, you can do through the LATA Foundation on the link below. We support lots of amazing grassroots projects across the Central and South America and anything you give makes a huge difference.
