Hi there,
As many of you know, my amazing wife Jo was diagnosed with Stage 4 Secondary Breast Cancer in September 2015. There is no cure for Stage 4, so emphasis is simply on extension and quality of life.
I chose to raise money for HOPE because of the immediate impact that HOPE has had on Jo's life.
The amazing work that the HOPE nurses do is indescribable, I cannot put into words how caring and thoughtful their nurses are.
Unfortunately, Jo is a regular at the ward but the personality of their nurses epitomises the work they do.
Therefore, I am raising much needed funds for this great charity, so they can continue the incredible work that they do in Leicestershire and Rutland.
Thanks for taking time to read this, everyone who knows me, knows how important fundraising is to me. For those who are kind enough to donate, from the bottom of my heart - Thank You!
I started out with a goal of 10,000 but this was smashed so the target has been moved to 50,000. I know with the support I’ve already received, this will be very achievable. 2020 was an odd year for fundraising, we will get back at it in 2021!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
