Before My Shining Star was formed, I helped fundraise for Ruby Laura Young. I followed her journey and when My Shining Star was formed, I knew it was a charity I wanted to support in someway! I am a keen runner and a goal of mine is to run the London Marathon. When the opportunity arose to take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising money on behalf of  My Shining Star, I jumped at the chance.
