Moore Brand sadly lost his fight against Motor Neurons Disease on 13th December 2012.  and it is in his honour that I am raisng funds for this life changing disease.

Any that knew Moore will know that he was a larger than life character and those that spent any time with him will all have a Moore Brand tale to tell.  Having spent over ten years working alongside him I have lots of stories many of which I couldn't repeat.  He helped me through so many difiicult times in my life and was always there for Ciara and myself and was one of the first people I went to for advice. I will always remember him with great fondness for the part he played in my life.  It is not without thought that I have started this page today (25th April) as today is his birthday and I feel that I owe it to him to do something worthy in his name.  

I am taking part in this years Maracycle - a 220 mile return bicycle ride from Belfast to Dublin starting from the Upper Malone Road with an overnight stay in Dublin City University, where I may add, I will raise a glass to the Big Man. This event takes place on 29th and 30th June. I hope you will agree that this is a very worthy cause and it is one that is certainly close to my heart.

All money raised will go to Motor Neurons Disease Association Northern Ireland.
