Story
1st of all...Thank you for your kind support.
As a 7 year old child I found myself in foster care, where sadly I was subjected to the most terrible crimes. It took me many years to overcome the trauma and effects of the crimes I was subjected to. For many years I battled with the stigmas, effects and PTSD, eventually I managed to become a Police officer and am now highly motivated to help others just like me.
I work with the National Violence Against Women Team and proudly volunteer as an Ambassador of The Survivors Trust and with the NHS to help improve services for victims of sexual violence across the country.
The TST staff team are joining forces with their wonderful helpline volunteers and survivor forum members to take on the 10K Wolf Run Challenge to raise vital funds for The Survivors Trust. The Survivors Trust have teams taking part in the Summer and Autumn Wolf Run events where we will complete a tough, and very muddy 10Km obstacle course. The money raised will help The Survivors Trust continue working on behalf of survivors and the specialist sexual violence and abuse support services.
