Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m completing the Three Peaks Challenge in September 2022 for Bury Hospice who have helped so many people at a critical time in the lives of so many people my family know.

Bury Hospice is an amazing venture but running it costs £3.5 million per year, or about £9,500 per day. They receive just 23% statutory funding from the CCG/NHS, which leaves them to fund raise the other 77% of their running costs.

Bury Hospice’s 3 Peaks challenge is a circular route of approximately 24 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. Starting and finishing in Horton-in Ribblesdale, we will climb the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m).
