My company is supporting a WaterAid project in Ethiopia to bring water and sanitation to some of the poorest people in Africa. 

As part of the fund raising effort, I have foolishly decided to run 4 marathons in just under 4 months.  I will be taking to the streets of Pisa on 15th December, Malta on 23rd February, Rome on 23rd March and Brighton on 6th April. 

It sounds like a long way to run, but many people in Ethiopia have to walk these distances every day just to get access to water.  WaterAid is trying to change that.
