Climbing the 7 highest peaks of the Mournes in one day for IJM 22/04/2023

IJM partners with local authorities in 33 offices across 23 countries to combat violence, such as slavery, violence against women and children and police abuse of power. We are a global team of investigators, lawyers, social workers, community activists and professionals. Inspired by Christian faith to love all people and to seek justice for people in oppression , IJM protects people in poverty from violence, without regard to religion or any other factor, and seeks to work alongside all people of goodwill.
IJM work side-by-side with local authorities and governments to rescue and restore survivors, hold perpetrators accountable in local courts, and help strengthen the public justice system so it can better protect people living in poverty from violence. This systems-based approach is replicable and has been proven to reduce the prevalence of modern slavery and violence, in some cases by as much as 86%. So far, we have helped to release over 75,000 people from slavery and violent abuse, and our vision is to rescue millions, protect half a billion and make justice for those living in poverty unstoppable.
