Story
A couple of years ago, Martin and I decided to set ourselves a challenge to cycle 100 miles in May, to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. I lost a dear friend to this dreadful disease and felt it was a way to give back and to fund further research. I am now setting off on a new challenge, Sea To Summit. On the 22nd June, 2024, I'll be joining 50 colleagues at Hays to hike and cycle, 47km from Caenarfon in North Wales to the top of Mount Snowden and back again, all in aid of EveryYouth, a small UK-wide charity working tirelessly to end youth homelessness. Hays have supported the EveryYouth Employability Fund since 2019, helping to provide young people with specialist coaches to help them become job ready. That might be helping them learn to read and write or preparing for an interview. Our objective is to help them take meaningful steps towards long-term employment, so they can live independent, happy lives. Please help me to reach my target of £1,000. I appreciate times are hard financially for so many people right now, anything that you can give would be very much appreciated!
