Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. To those of you who have sponsored me so far, my heartfelt gratitude - to those of you who are thinking about donating, we need all your help.

My niece Lily Merritt was just weeks old when her parents Liz and Dave were told their baby was going to die of Mitochondrial Disease. She fought on for eight months.

We can't bring her back. But inspired by Lily's strength,  we created  The Lily Foundation to try and ensure other families don't suffer.

We need your help to raise money for research  killer metabolic disorders that are now being linked to Alzheimers, cancers, heart and liver problems, Parkinson's and other killers.

Your kindness in sponsoring me at last year's Flora London Marathon was staggering. We have raised over £200,000 so far. I can't thank you enough.

Please help again.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Lily Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! Help us make a difference
