Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and supporting us as a family in allowing us to raise money for JDRF. 

JDRF have supported us a family and continue to raise  awareness of TYPE 1 Diabetes.  I was diagnosed with Type 1 when I was five years old, and have been insulin dependant for 25 years. 

Two years ago I had a stroke and this made my condition difficult at times. In January this year i was fitted with a diabetic pump. 

Learning a new way of life and living with Type 1 has its challenges, but with all the new reasearch, constant support from family and friends, all health professions and JDRF. 

I do believe we can raise awareness and allow for everyone to have a better understanding of Type 1.
