Story

Redemption? Stupidity? Probably a bit of both.

You may remember I didn't finish Marathon Des Sables 2016. Too fat. Too hot. No training.

Gutted I didn't get Dad that MDS medal. So I promised him I would go back, and his loss last year makes me even more determined to do it. So I'm back in April 2018. I've also just got a place in the London Marathon 2018, which is 6 days after I return from the desert. I've also signed up for the abseil off the roof of the Royal London as both Dad and I are/were terrified of heights.

Last time, we got to 17k, including gift aid.

Let's see what if we can top that. I want to aim for 25k.

For Dad.

My hero, much missed.
