Since my last triathlon, the world has been through profound and unexpected change.   Coronavirus and lockdowns not only impacted the world we live in, but also led to great suffering and bereavement.  

Many children have been forced to deal with extreme trauma and grief through the loss of parents, grandparents, close family and friends, not only as a direct result of this awful pandemic, but also due to the ensuing negative effects of addiction which has grown exponentially in the areas that this charity operates in.

I have been following the work that Richmond's Hope carries out in helping the little people, and admire everything that they do.  

On Sunday, I am hoping to swim, cycle and run further than I ever have before.  My inspiration will be the work that Richmond's Hope does for the children who are destined to safeguard our wonderful planet in the years ahead.
