Myself and #1 son Jake are cycling coast to coast for Farms for City Children on Friday 21st July. The ride is around 75 miles from Barnstaple to Exmouth, and involves around 1300m of climbing.  In addition Jake has suggested that we also do the harder 100 mile Plymouth to Ilfracombe coast to coast cycle on Sunday 23rd July....and then cycle back to Plymouth the next day.  So that is 275 miles in 4 days, with a rest day (golf day) on Saturday!  I'm not sure if we are mad, deluded or stupid, but it should be a great and very tiring adventure!!
