Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2019 I cycled from London to Paris for the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Sue Sutton. Sue was a great friend of my wife's family and the only reason I have ever and will ever win at trivia! Those who know me will know I'm rubbish at trivia and so our Christmas winnings can only be put down to Sue. Yet a few years on everything changed with the onset of Dementia.
Seeing the impact this disease has on both the individual and their family and friends really inspired me on my ride to Paris. Along the way I learnt so much more about this terrible disease, heard stories of the impact on so many more families and the great work that the Alzheimer's Society does. This inspired me to go further and raise more money for them.
Therefore this year I am aiming to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats in just 9 days.
Any donation you can provide large or small would be really appreciated and will continue to inspire me with my training for what is undoubtably going to be a real challenge.
Thanks, Jon
