Climb of Life 2019 · 8 November 2019 ·

Thank you for visiting the Climb of Life/Ride of Life 2019 JustGiving homepage. Our annual mountain trek, organised by Philip and Heather Lawson, raises vital funds for The Institute of Cancer Research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Avery JustGiving page.

This year, on Friday November 8, Avery will join an office products industry gathering  to climb many of the toughest mountains in the UK's Lake District

We will have helped to raise £1m+ for the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) which, in partnership with The Royal Marsden hospital, forms the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe. Their work in cancer research is truly world-class

For the last 3 years, Avery has been proud to help our industry support ICR and the fantastic work they do. This year the Avery team will be climbing Hellvelyn - probably in a blizzard again!

About the event...

The event sees teams climb the UK's highest Lakeland Mountains during freezing winter conditions to raise money for the global charity ICR.

Please dig deep and support this fantastic cause. And hopefully one day there won’t be a need to climb mountains in the wind and snow, and we won’t have to mourn friends, colleagues and relatives who have lost their battle against cancer.

Thank you.
