At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

As I’m sure a lot of you know my dad was diagnosed with dementia 2 and a half years ago. During this time I have watched the man I love and adore slowly slip away. Though we still enjoy moments of laughter and share our love of football, unfortunately these times are fewer and fewer as time goes by. However, knowing my dad’s fighting spirit both on and off the pitch he won’t go down without a fight and will give it his all in his battle with this illness.

I have also seen my aunt, uncle and parents of my friends affected by this terrible disease, so for this reason I’m asking for your help, no matter how small, in helping fund research towards finding a cure.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help will be greatly appreciated by both myself and Ethan who is also taking part for his grandad.
