Story
Little Havens is my company (CBW) charity of the year.
A few months ago, the charity came to visit my office here in London. A gentleman called Nick Hart gave an impassioned presentation on the fantastic work the charity had done looking after his daughter Katie, who had been diagnosed with brain cancer at a young age. The charity supported her and the whole family through what was an incredibly sad and challenging time and helped orchestrate some lovely memories for them in her final months.
One could not help but be inspired by Katie's' story and Nick's passion and love for the charity.
Moreover, covid has had a highly detrimental effect on charities' ability to meet their fundraising goals in the last couple of years and I hope that the money I raise will continue to help Little Havens 'Make every day count’ for everyone they care for.
The London marathon itself is something that I have viewed from my London flat several times over the last few years, but I have now mustered up the courage to run it myself for this fantastic cause!
Thank you very much for reading this page. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Jonathan
