Story
Thank you so much for popping by the website, and donating to the cause.
I haven't done any running in years, so this is a bit of a stretch for me, and my training has been plagued by calf injuries. However, I really hope I can get round! I would be really grateful if you could donate something, anything really, to help KCUK this year, as our income has been markedly reduced by the pandemic (see below).
then please give generously. If you could manage £1 per km (there's 21km in a half marathon) and perhaps round it up, I would be so grateful. If you can't manage that though, please just give whatever you can.
As a charity we do not receive any government funding and rely on the generosity of the public through donations and community collections in high streets and supermarkets. Due to restrictions during the pandemic we have lost a significant amount of fundraising income which goes towards the cost of the vital services we provide to patients, carers and family members living with kidney cancer. We have incredible supporters in the Kidney Cancer UK community who raise funds and awareness for us. Without their support we couldn't continue to listen, inform and support the patients, carers and their families across the nation.
Thank you, thank you for reading this far, and for any donations you have given.
