Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2019 I ran the London Marathon to raise awareness and cash for Brain Tumour Research, but the work goes on and the fight is not yet won, so here we go again...

In November 2015, my friend Katie Smith was diagnosed with a brain tumour and was told that she had a high chance of dying before she turned forty. She describes her journey way more eloquently than I can at...

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet it only receives 1% of the UK national spend on cancer research!

16,000 people are diagnosed with brain tumours every year, and less than 20% of those survive beyond 5 years.

The minimum amount of sponsorship required to enter the London Marathon and represent the charity is £3,500.00. So I'm asking you to donate whatever you can so we can spread the word and support the UK research centres that are fighting this devastating disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
