Fundraising for Scottish SPCA
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m going to be running the Loch Ness marathon on October 3rd this year to raise money for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA)
It’s a charity that’s close to my heart as it is where Karen and I got our first dog Sammy.
There are thousands of other animals that have been abandoned and poorly treated that need a loving home and while they wait for that new home it is the folks at the SSPCA that look after them.
They are an animal welfare charity they receive no government or lottery funding and rely on public donations to continue there vital work rescuing and re-homing Scotland's abandoned, neglected and defenceless animals.
So with that in mind I’m asking you, if you could please sponsor me for running the Loch Ness marathon. All monies raised will go towards helping animals throughout Scotland and will make a huge difference in the care and work the SSPCA can do for them.
I don’t expect this marathon to be easy so your support means allot to me!
