Story

On the 3rd October I will be taking on the London Marathon for the NOMAN is an Island: Race to End HPV Campaign.

The NOMAN team are doing incredible things to raise awareness for HPV-related cancers.  It’s a cause you may recognise and one I’ve been close to since taking part in their ocean rowing challenge across the Med in 2019.  There’s more information on this brilliant charity below.

I know it’s not the first time I’ve asked you to dip into your pockets, but I’m doing so again now because all charities need and deserve any support we can give them after the challenges of the past year. My employer has also committed to matching every penny I raise, so let’s make sure we make that count!

Jonny

NOMAN raises awareness about the HPV-related cancer epidemic in men and women, and campaigns for universal HPV vaccination, whilst challenging participants to extreme endurance races across the world.HPV is the causal agent of 5% of all cancers, and over 80% of us will come into contact with the virus at some stage in our lives. We can prevent 5% of cancers simply by vaccinating both boys and girls against this devastating virus.
