This cycle ride was organized over two years ago but due to Covid-19 was postponed until this year. In the meantime I was diagnosed with Angina and had  triple heart bypass surgery at The Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in April 2021. The care that I had was excellent and having made a good recovery my wife Shan and I wanted to raise money to show our appreciation of what a fine service we have in North Wales.

We will be cycling from London to Paris in 3 days a distance of almost 200 miles. This will be undertaken thanks to Grwp Llandrillo - Menai staff and College where I was once a manager. There will be another 33 riders raising money for different charities.

Day 1 London to Newhaven a distance 64 miles to catch the ferry at 5pm

Day 2 Dieppe to Beauvais distance of 68 miles.

Day 3 Beauvais to Paris distance of 56 miles     

I hope that you will be able to support this excellent cause. Before my operation I never felt that I would be able to attempt anything like this again. Since then I have gone from strength to strength and am using this challenge to improve my fitness.
