Story
People that know me, will realise that I don't often call for assistance, and also that I'm not a brilliantly keen cyclist.
However, in February this year, my wife of twenty-four years received a diagnosis which detailed a brain tumour in a very difficult position. Our "normal" lives were upside down.
The evening before her operation, our children returned to the UK just in time to bring their love to their mother.
With the brilliance and skill of the neurology team at The John Radcliffe Hospital, I am honoured to say the we celebrated our twenty-fifth anniversary, and she is continuing her journey.
Embarrassing but true, I don't find much time to give back to charities, and there are only two I ever support. Now there is three, and I am wanting to achieve this target in order to show my appreciation to the whole team at the JR, you are amazing.
Thank you for saving my life (wife).
