Here's my story then......

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to do something for charity, talked the talk and now it's time to walk the walk. Quite.Literally. 

As of October 2nd 2013 I shall be embarking on a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Elise for Life appeal. 

The Elise for Life appeal was set up to raise £1 Million for The Christie Hospital to assist with research and trials.

My dad is currently receiving treatment at The Christie Hospital for Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and with this in mind feel it's about time I pulled my finger out and did a bit.

I know times are hard and the current economic climate is terrible but please cut back in one area and make a donation to help, whether it be a pint less or have the cheap beans instead.

That way you should be able to throw me some cash...
