Ocean Ward is a specialist children's heart ward at Southampton hospital. 

It's a personal choice as both of us have had separate experiences with close family being under their care.  We really are lucky to have such expert help on our doorstep and we felt it would be good to give a little back :-)

This charity seeks to give support to other families making use of the facilities on Ocean Ward.  All donations are used to help families during long stays on Ocean Ward - they purchase toys, DVDs and other things for the pleasure and use by children and families during their stay on the ward. 

The charity helps families all across the south coast - all the way from Cornwall to Sussex.
